Purpose of UltraMind

Jose Silva's UltraMind ESP System can help you find and fulfill your purpose in life

     I've been thinking about Jose Silva's UltraMind ESP System and what we are doing, and I thought of a way of explaining it to make it a little easier to understand.
     Let me tell you a little story:
     When I was in the Air Force, I spent much of my time locked in a vault, buried deep underground, outside of Alexandria, Virginia.
     My job, and the job of the people I worked with, was to collect and analyze information from other parts of the world. We referred to that information as "Intelligence."
     There was a war going on at the time, in Southeast Asia, and we wanted to keep our people safe. We wanted to fulfill our mission successfully.

     To do that, we needed to know what was going on, so that we could direct operations - send people to the right place, with the right instructions.
     The problem was: Being buried in that vault, I couldn't see what was going on with my own eyes. I couldn't hear anything from there with my own ears.
     No matter how much people waved and tried to signal to me, I couldn't see them.
     No matter how loud they shouted, I couldn't hear them.
     So in order to communicate and obtain information about what was going on in Southeast Asia, we had to send "agents" over there. We sent thousands of agents - people who were specially trained and equipped to observe what was going on and to send information back to us at headquarters, so that we could send people and equipment and supplies wherever they were needed in order to keep our troops safe, and to succeed at our mission.
     These agents needed to be able to send information to us, and to receive instructions back from us.
     It occurred to me that this was very similar to the situation that exists with Human Beings and Higher Intelligence.
 
Communicating with higher intelligence
     When we talk about higher intelligence, we are talking about what people commonly refer to as God. There are many names, used by many people, so we use the "scientific" term: Higher intelligence.
     Here's the thing: Is higher intelligence - is God - physical...or is God spiritual?
     God is spiritual, of course.
     God - or higher intelligence - doesn't have physical eyes to see with, doesn't have physical ears to hear with.
     So in order to know what's going on here in the physical world - the physical dimension - higher intelligence had to send "agents" here, with all the equipment they need to observe what's going on and report back to headquarters, and to receive instructions back as to where to go and what to do.

     In this model, our headquarters in Virginia was like God. I was part of that system. So were the agents, even if they didn't realize it at the time. I wasn't God - I was what we call a "Tutor" in the Silva UltraMind ESP System. I reported to somebody, who reported to somebody else, who reported to somebody else.

     There were people like me who collected information.
     There were other people who analyzed it, and others who used it to develop plans.
     They would get those plans approved by the Commander in Chief. Then orders would come back down the line until they got to me, and I would send specific instructions back to the people that I was responsible for, so that they could do what was needed for the plans to work.
 
A communications breakdown
     Now here's where the problem came in, and why the Silva UltraMind ESP System is so important right now:
     Once the agents arrived, they didn't know what to do.

     Just imagine if all of those agents we had sent to Southeast Asia forgot - by the time they got there - what they were sent to do, and how to do it.
     We had equipped them with the best radios we had, and showed them how to tune them to the correct frequency so that they could send information - intelligence - back to us at headquarters in Virginia, and then receive instructions and guidance so that they could do what needed to be done.
     You see, the radios would take the agents' objective - physical - information, and convert it to another form. When the agents talked into the microphone, the vibrations created by their voice would be converted into another kind of vibration - another kind of energy - another form. And those vibrations would be transmitted back to us in Virginia. We couldn't understand those vibrations - those electronic "radio" signals - so we had to have equipment to convert those vibrations back to different vibrations, that we could understand.
     Then we could listen, or could read, the information that the agents sent to us.
     Now just imagine if,  after they got there, they weren't using their radios to send back messages and get their instructions. We'd have had a real problem. Let's pretend that happened. What would we do?
     Could the radios be malfunctioning? No, because every now and then we'd get a message, and send back instructions.
 
A few special people receive guidance
     It seems like a few of the people would tinker with the box - the radio - and "accidentally" tune it to the correct frequency. Then they'd sort of talk to themselves, out loud, and we got the message. The radio would convert their voice, or their writings, into another kind of energy that could be transmitted to Virginia, and our equipment there in Virginia would covert those vibrations into a form that we could understand and use.
     So when we got that information, we could transmit some guidance back to the agents.
     Those agents who were somehow able to do this would pass that information on, and it turned out that whatever they said usually turned out to be right.

     The other personnel, who didn't know what radios were, much less how to use them, thought that those agents were geniuses, that they had some kind of connection to a higher power that gave them special blessings.
     The truth was, these agents were doing what they had been sent to do - send information back to us and receive guidance and instructions from us - and all the other agents could be doing the same thing.
     As you can see, it would be very difficult for us at headquarters to give good instructions, to make good decisions to keep our personnel safe and to help them achieve their objectives, if we were not getting the intelligence that we needed.
     So what to do about it?
 
Correcting the communications problem
     We'd have to send a specialists, an expert, to find out why the agents were not doing what they were sent there to do, and to find a way to correct the problem.
     Well, our expert saw right off that people weren't using their radios. So he gathered up a group of agents and taught them how to use their radios, and instructed them to teach all the rest to use their radios to send us the intelligence we needed, and to then get their instructions.
     But it didn't happen.
     So he analyzed what the problem was.
     What he realized was that nobody had any idea what those boxes were - their radios - and most of them couldn't even conceive of using them to get information to help them make better decisions and achieve their objectives.
     The agent went to the field agents and explained: "You can take this box, twist these knobs like this, talk into this microphone about what's happening, and then in the morning you will get directions from headquarters in Virginia  about where to go and what to do."

     But the field agents didn't believe it. Ed Bernd worked for me, and he was one of the stubborn ones: "What are you talking about? There's nobody inside that box to hear me, or talk to me. And what's this 'headquarters' you're talking about? It sounds like you're talking about prayer. I've seen all these people running around shouting and praying and singing and the world seems to be getting worse instead of better."
     "That's right," the troubleshooter said, "because shouting and singing isn't the way to communicate with headquarters. It is too far away. You have to tune the radio to the correct frequency, and communicate in the correct manner, at the correct time."
     "Oh, there you go again, acting like that little box has some kind of magical powers."
     So you can see that the field agents wouldn't even entertain the idea that there was a headquarters, much less that the radio could help him find out where to go and what to do to be more successful.
 
Communication with high intelligence
     Jose Silva was one of those people who, from the time he was a child, somehow seemed to know how to use his radio to send information and get guidance from headquarters.
     When he was six years old, shining shoes to earn money for the family, he was guided to ask about those big pieces of paper that people were looking at, and his uncle told him about newspapers, and that people would pay money for them, so Jose began selling them.
     Later when he had an opportunity to clean offices at night and earn more money doing that, his intuition told him what to do when he found some money, and a watch. He put them away, and went back the next day to tell the men in the office where they were. He didn't know he was being tested. But somehow, his "radio" worked, he sent the information to headquarters, and they let him know what to do.
     Now there's a big question here: How do you know that the information you receive is actually information from headquarters? How can you know that you heard correctly? How can you know that somebody else didn't intercept the frequency? Maybe Tokyo Rose is sending a false message.
     You know by the objective results that you get. When Jose earned more money selling newspapers, he knew that the message was valid. When he was praised for putting away the money and the watch, and returning them to the owners the next day, he knew that the message was valid, and that he understood it correctly.
 
A specialist is assigned to the task
     Eventually, Jose Silva received a communication from headquarters that he should begin to investigate people - human beings - especially the human mind. So he did. And the objective feedback let him know that he was heading in the right direction, that he was doing what headquarters - higher intelligence - wanted him to do.
     He discovered the work that had gone before - that an expert had been sent and had realized that human beings didn't know how to communicate back with headquarters. They didn't know how to tune to the correct frequency, and they didn't know what form their communication should take.
     So he did what the previous expert did and tried to teach people.
     And he ran into the same problem as the troubleshooter I told you about a few minutes ago:
     Most people didn't understand, and they didn't believe him.
     Oh, a few of them got it, enough to let him know he was on the right track. But his efforts seemed doomed to failure because too few of them understood.
     Mr. Silva couldn't get the government to get involved. The churches didn't want anything to do with him. The educational system wasn't interested.
     Most people just didn't believe what he was trying to tell them about communicating with headquarters.
     So what could he do?
     He came up with a great plan. Let me illustrate again with my imaginary troubleshooter:
 
How communication can be valuable
     "Come here for a minute," he said to the agents, "and let me show you something about that funny little box that you have there."
     "This thing? It makes a nice door stop. That's about all."
     "Look, when you turn these knobs, you get some of that folk music you like so much."
     "Wow! How did you do that?"
     "And when you tune it over here, you can hear some people telling funny stories.
     "And you've always liked automobile racing. Move this indicator up to this part of the dial and you can hear the auto races."
     "Wow! Can you teach me how to do that?"
     So when the field agents discovered that they could use the radio for things that were pleasing and beneficial to them, they got interested.
     They became believers.
     "And look at this," the troubleshooter continued:
     "When you tune the dial right here in this spot, and you talk into this microphone, you will be sending information - intelligence - back to headquarters.
     "Then the next morning, tune it here again, and listen, and you will get instructions about where to go and what to do."
     By doing that, we managed to get people to learn how to use their radios. Some of them would occasionally even use it to communicate with headquarters.
     Most people though used their radios for entertainment, for self-improvement and personal benefit.
     Some used their radios to communicate with other people.
     Over in Southeast Asia, this helped them. They could coordinate their efforts better, and have more success. And they were very impressed with this.
     But only a few actually communicated with headquarters.
     No matter how hard he tried to explain that they could also communicate with headquarters and carry out the mission they had been sent to perform, most of the time they just used their radios to do what they thought was important.
     They went where they felt they were needed, and did what they thought was the best thing to do. They made a good effort.
     The problem was, they didn't have all of the information. They couldn't know what everybody else's plans were. So this was not a very efficient system.
     He knew that if we could get everybody to send information back every night, and to listen to the instructions in the morning, then we could do a much better job of keeping our people safe, of doing the right thing at the right time and reaching our objectives.
 
Taking the next step
     Jose Silva realized that this problem still existed. He had achieved what he had set out to achieve: Most people knew how to use their radios. There were a lot of people out there, in addition to Jose and his instructors, who were teaching people how to use their radios in many different ways, to listen to all kinds of different information, and to benefit in many ways.
     But that wasn't what was really needed. That was only a means to an end.
     Jose Silva put it this way: For 30 years, he said that through his work - the work that we were helping him with - we were leading humanity "towards the beginning of the second phase of human evolution of the planet."
     Some people found that hard to believe:
     They were so impressed with their newfound ability to use visualization and imagination, and mental programming, to help them get what they wanted, that they felt this sure had to be the second phase of human evolution on the planet! The first phase was physical evolution - we learned how to use our bodies, our brains, our arms and legs, our voices.
     Now Mr. Silva had taught us how to develop and use our minds. "Isn't that the second phase of human evolution... our mental evolution?" people asked
     Jose Silva kept telling us No, it wasn't the second phase, that we were still moving towards the beginning of the second phase of human evolution.
     And people kept wondering what that meant. Until one day in 1998, just a couple of weeks before the annual Silva international convention, when Mr. Silva explained it:

     "Just remember," Mr. Silva said, "that the reason we were given psychic ability is so that we can find out what we were sent here to do, and how to do it."
     In other words, learning to use our minds was just the preparation - it prepared us do to what we were sent here to do.
     And that is to communicate with our tutor back at headquarters - to send our helpers on the other side the intelligence that they need in order to develop the plans and to help us, to send us where we need to go, to do what we need to do.
     The MentalVideo Technique is the key to communicating with headquarters. It is the key to the whole UltraMind ESP System.
 
Get the guidance you need
     Now - back to my story - back in Virginia, deep underground in my vault, I'm getting enough intelligence back from my agents to do some good with it.

     The intelligence that I receive is combined with the intelligence that other agents have sent to their tutors, it is all analyzed by experts, and we get our orders.
     I might tell my agents to go a certain direction and help out another unit.
     Now remember what we said earlier, that we have to verify that the transmission is legitimate, that it came from me and not from the enemy, and that you understood it correctly and are not distorting it with your own wishes and wants.
     How do you verify it?
     Simple: You watch for indications that reinforce it.
     If you start marching in the direction you were told to go, and a truck comes along and gives you a ride, that's an indication that you are going in the right direction, and that I sent the truck to help you.
     Notice how I can help you when I know what you are doing. If you decide on your own where to go, even if this is the correct decision, I'm still not able to help you by sending you a truck to give you a ride if I don't know what you are doing.
     So it is absolutely essential that you keep headquarters informed, so that we can be sure your effort is being used in the best possible way, and so that we can send you the help that you need.
     Now suppose you've been giving reports, and things are happening so fast that you have to make your own decisions right now, without waiting for help from headquarters. That's fine, as long as you keep me informed.
     You might let me know that you are going in a certain direction, to do a certain thing, because that's the best decision you can make with the information that you have. But I might see that you have been tricked and are marching into a trap. In that case, I will find a way to intercept you, and send you in another direction.
     While you are marching along, you might get to a river and find that the bridge is out. Rather than struggling all day to rebuild the bridge, it might be better for you to look around and see if there's an alternative available to you.
     When you find a good alternative nearby, that's the way I have found to help you.
     Remember, according to Jose Silva, the instructions that we get are always backed up by objective feedback. He says, the MentalVideo Technique, to "look for indications" that show you how to proceed.
 
Creating a paradise on earth
     I believe that we all answer to a higher power - whatever name you choose to use - Allah, Jehovah, God, Ram...or high intelligence - I recognize them all.
     I believe that the way to create a paradise that we can all live in and enjoy is to do what higher intelligence sent us here to do.
     At this moment, you stand poised at the beginning of the second phase of human evolution on the planet - which means that we are moving from an attitude getting all that we can get for ourselves, to a realization that  we'd better start doing what we were sent here to do and carry out the missions that have been assigned to us.
     When you do this, you will be like Jose Silva: You will literally have "God's hand on your shoulder," as someone once said, guiding you to achieve what you were sent here to achieve, to succeed at improving conditions.
     And, like Jose Silva, higher intelligence will make sure that you have all of the resources that you need to fulfill your mission.
     When you do your job correctly, you will receive all that you need for yourself, plus a little bit more.
